   Wow, I love this straightener so much I want to straighten EVERYTHING! The plates are real smooth and just glide over my hair effortlessly, my arm appreciates this a lot.    I’m jinxed when it comes to electrical appliances. Every electrical appliance I’ve used goes kaput for no reason after a while and my husband and I have to spend a lot of money replacing everything. I’ve owned over a dozen straightening irons, and I’m not kidding. Every one of them has died on me in less than 6 months and it gets frustrating because my hair is very curly and frizzy, so I rely on my straightening iron to put it right. So when my sister gave me the Karmin G3 you can imagine how apprehensive I was! But once I started using it my worries disappeared. The temperature settings let me control the styling process entirely, and I usually like to start on a low setting and work my way up. The plates are super smooth so my hair isn’t yanked out, something I would experience with my previous straightening irons. I think the best part about all this is that the Karmin G3 has managed to survive! It’s been over 8 months and it’s still functioning perfectly, though our microwave just gave out a few days ago.    After seeing the results of this flat iron on my daughter-in-law I decided to try it out on my own hair. My hair has grown courser and dryer over the years, but when I use this appliance it looks healthier and shinier, as well as straight. I have to fight the urge to use it every day now.    I have thick wavy hair and I like it straight from time to time but since I have so much hair I take almost an hour to style.    Frizz has always been a big problem for me, even when I have my hair straightened. I live in a humid area so that doesn’t help too much, but the Karmin G3 Salon pro DOES help.    Hair straighteners never used to be my thing until I was given a Karmin G3. I was more of a curling iron gal, because my hair was only slightly wavy and I would enhance my style by putting curls into it. Well, my curling iron died and I was on the lookout for a new one but my birthday came up and my mom gave me a Karmin G3, in pink. To be honest I was going to exchange it for a curling iron but I decided to try it out at least once just to see. Not only did it leave my hair ultra smooth and frizz free, it’s actually looking healthier than before! And the best part is I can still curl my hair or put waves into it because of the curved plates. It’s such a versatile hair straightener that now I can’t believe I wanted to get rid of it for a curling iron, which can only do one thing, and that’s curl. I thank my mom every time I see her! There are plenty things I haven’t discovered or tested yet, one of them being the dual voltage feature, but with my upcoming vacation to France I’m sure to find out if it really works!    I have the white Karmin G3 (to match my other white styling tools) and I have never seen my hair so smooth and frizz free. The heat is gentle but really high, making me spend less time in front of the mirror worrying about burnt hair. Great hair iron. (Posted on 7/28/11)

   It’s not easy to find a styling appliance that works the way you want it too. So far I’ve owned a dozen that have given me dismal results and that really makes you give up on ever having sleek, silky hair. Fortunately I found the Karmin G3 and had hope returned to me!     The Karmin G3 has really helped me out. My hair is course and thick with a tendency to curl and not many flat irons were any good at straightening it.
